The next installment in this fabled series casts Solid Snake as an aging and somewhat sickly version of his former self — no doubt, though, he’s still deadly. Though we have few details about the plot beyond those revealed in the Tokyo Game Show trailer (below), it looks like Snake is again the main character and the game takes place after MGS2 in the series timeline. Oh, and old Snake has a sweet mechanical eyepatch.

As you’ll notice, the trailer teases us with a First-Person Shooter perspective — but don’t worry, it’s still the same old MGS. Except more awesome, and with an extra old man.
