Gamestop posts 32 PS3 games for pre-order
The huge gaming retailer is getting ready, and, for some reason, they’re using Oct. 1 as their tentative launch date.

Gamestop is ready to take your order for 32 PlayStation 3 games — and, in the most interesting development, they’re listing October 1, 2006, as the date of availability for these “pre-release” orders. That date falls on a Sunday, which pretty much rules it out as the actual PS3 launch, but it might be a good ballpark estimate, since Gamestop seems to be in on such secrets.
And, obviously, the PS3 probably won’t have 32 launch titles (the Xbox 360 had 18). But if you want first dibs, the games are going for $59.99, and the link is right here.
