Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2

The Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 is a two players PS3 game with third person perspective that falls under the Action genre and it was officially released on the 21st April, 2009 by its publisher, Namco Bandai Games. The game is rated as T or Teen (contain violent content, mild or strong language, and/or suggestive themes) which means that it is suitable for players who are more than 13 years old by ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board), while the game’s developer is Omega Force. The Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 is a game about brutal war s between rebel space colonies fighting for independence that happens in the future and it also affect attack against Earth. The future combat thus resulting to a new kind of warfare called the Mobile Suit. This Mobile suit is a trademark of the GUNDAM universe and with it also comes the Tactical Action game play of the Dynasty Warriors series. Players will go through battles with enemies such as the gigantic Psycho Gundam who can quickly reconfigure their bodies into titanic mobile fortresses which can move with remarkable speed. However, players can utilize their own Mobile Suit’s speed, agility, and firepower to defeat these deadly machines. Apart from that, it also includes new stories featuring mecha from Gundam’s latest anime, plus mecha from Char’s Counter Attack. Along with mecha parts collected throughout the game, players will have the opportunity to use the Mobile Suit for the next combat.
The Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 features a Tactical action game play that combines fast-paced excitement, epic, cinematic action with rich storylines and characters of the Gundam universe. Players will come across many characters such as Char Aznable (who has triple identity), Four (who is mentally unstable) and Master Asia. Each of the character has their very own storylines thus time and patience are needed for players to guide them through every missions in the game, along with various mobile suits to choose from that offers different types of attacks. The story started of with an Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG) pilot named Quattro Bajeena who managed to infiltrates the Gryps space colony which is the headquarters of the Earth Federation’s Titans taskforce who are developing new Gundam Mk II mobile suits. Quattro and his comrades managed to capture some of the machines and return to AEUG flagship, Argama. Evading the pursuing Titans along with their allies of Federation Forces, the Argama makes its way to the moon, where the rebels receive new weapons and supplies to prepare a massive mobile suit attack on the Titans’ terrestrial supply base situated in an underground fortress of Jaburo in South America.
The Gundam 2 enables players to engage in battles against various enemy Mobile Suits on a far away planetary surfaces of outer space. The games main objective is to have a good control zones on the map and help out your allies while fighting lots of enemies in the process. With colossal enemies like the massive Psycho Gundam who has the ability to quickly reconfigure their bodies into titanic mobile fortresses that move with remarkable speed. Players can utilize their own Mobile Suit’s speed, agility and firepower to defeat this deadly Psycho Gundam. Players can also access up to 62 different mech suits that comes with various range of weaponry and special skills, together with plenty of missions, mech customization and upgrades, plus the opportunity to play different characters. The game also features a War Mode where up to four players can enter a bot-filled war zone and compete to accomplish various mission requirements. Its ‘Mission mode’ allows player to mix characters and scenarios from the Gundam universe and associate them in different ways for different outcomes. The Mission Mode has several different categories, with the completion of each missions will unlocked further play opportunities and classes of mobile suits, while the ‘Library mode’ provides players with background information on all the pilots, mobile suits and battle ships in the game. It also has the online modes which is the Death match variants that feature no AI-controlled hordes. Other new feature of the game includes the ability to execute aerial maneuvers, some Quick-Time Events that appear during boss battles and requires players to press a series of face buttons to correspond with the flash up on-screen. The Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 also support online gaming through its Multiplayer mode, where players can enjoy playing with friends or opponents from all over the world, as well as supporting PSN trophies (‘Versus mode’) through PlayStation Network (PSN) which allows players to compete against each other in three online campaigns.
